Sullair Expands Partnership with Peerless Energy Systems to Service Customers in Eastern Iowa
Peerless Opens Full-Servie Facility in Cedar Rapids
Chicago – July 8, 2015 – Sullair, an industry-leading compressed air solutions provider since 1965, announced it is expanding its relationship with distributor Peerless Energy Systems to improve service for its customers in eastern Iowa. As part of the expansion, Peerless recently opened a new 9,000-square-foot facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
"We are proud to welcome Peerless Energy Systems to the city of Cedar Rapids,” said Cedar Rapids City Manager Jeff Pomeranz. “This facility will not only create jobs in our community, but offer needed support to our existing industries in order to help those companies run more efficiently.”
Omaha, Nebraska-based Peerless – a full-service distributor of industrial equipment specializing in engineered solutions for compressed air and gas systems, process vacuum systems, low pressure air and gas solutions, industrial process fluid chillers, closed loop fluid coolers, and low pressure blowers – has serviced customers in Nebraska, parts of South Dakota and in western Iowa for 15 years. Peerless helps to improve its customers’ production efficiency, reduce operating costs and lower the carbon footprint by providing air audits, best system practices for compressed air and gas systems, turnkey installations, complete after-sales support and continuing maintenance education programs.
"This expansion into Cedar Rapids with brick and mortar is a very important move for Peerless. It ensures that we will continue to provide the focused support and expertise our customers expect from a compressed air service provider. It will also allow us to better serve our growing customer base in Iowa," said Ed McMorrow, president of Peerless Energy Systems. "Peerless is committed to providing customizable, energy efficient solutions to meet our customers’ exact compressed air needs. Sullair’s legendary air end and equipment reliability, along with their energy efficient solutions, are just some of the many reasons we are proud to continue our partnership with Sullair as we continue our growth in Iowa."
Peerless’ new facility – located at 1300 Stoney Point Road SW in Cedar Rapids – is staffed with Sullair sales, service and parts support. With experienced sales and service technicians, the full-service facility will provide expert onsite (at customer facilities) and shop support for commercial and industrial compressed air, vacuum system, chiller and abrasive blast equipment; maintain a large inventory of spare parts and lubricants; ensure 24/7 parts and service; and offer compressed air rental equipment from 20 to 5000 cfm, with both electric and diesel power options.
"Our relationship with Peerless is longstanding, and as a result of Peerless’ superior efforts, we are pleased to partner with them as they expand their efforts in Iowa. Peerless’ commitment to superior service, quality and efficiency will surely lead to success in eastern Iowa,” said Michael O’Hanlon, Sullair’s Sales Manager for North America.
In addition to Peerless’ new Cedar Rapids location, the company has additional service facilities in South Sioux City, South Dakota, and at its headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
